Knöpfe kommen noch, sehr wahrscheinlich Kokosnussschalenknöpfe (wow, was für ein Wort!)
Grösse: genau wie in der Anleitung, schätze 36/38.

Ich bin von der Anleitung total begeistert!!! Einfach stur dem Aufgeschriebenen folgen und voilà... alles passt! Ehrlich, so eine einfache und trotzdem vollständige Anleitung habe ich noch nie gesehen! Macht echt Spass! Anfangs war die amerikanische Art, wirklich jede Reihe aufzuschreiben wieder mal etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig, aber es ist genial!

Das Garn ist eine Baumwoll-Polyacryl-Mischung und dementsprechend schwer. Das hat sich dann auch im Gewicht gezeigt (und beim Stricken des Kragens, uff!)

Abgeändert habe ich gar nichts. Nächstes Mal würde ich vielleicht die Ärmel etwas kürzer machen. Ich liebe es zwar, wenn meine Hände bis zur Hälfte bedeckt sind (kuschelig und ich brauche keine Handschuhe o.ä.) aber diese hier ziehen sich doch sehr in die Länge. Vielleicht hat das aber auch mit dem Gewicht des Garnes zu tun.

Tja, das Garn war teilweise etwas mühsam zum verstricken. Vor allem wenn man zurückstechen musste, sie „entdrehte“ sich und „zerfiel“. Auch beim Zusammennähen zeigte sich dieses Problem extrem. Bis anhin hatte ich nie solche Garne und wahrscheinlich schaue ich das nächste Mal bei der Wollwahl auch auf diesen Aspekt.

Mit der Nadelstärke 8 war ich innerhalb von zwei Wochen fertig (unglaublich für meine Verhältnisse!)

I’m really thrilled about the pattern!!! Just follow the instructions exactly and voilà … it fits perfectly! Really, I’ve never seen an instruction as easy and nevertheless as complete as this! It’s fun!
Again, the american way of writing down every single row was strange in the beginning again, but it’s great!

The yarn is a cotton-polyacrilyc-mix and therefore quite heavy. That shows the final weight, too (was really work to knit the collar!)

I didn’t change anything. Next time I would maybe shorten the sleeves a little bit. I normally love them to fall over my hands (it’s cozy and I don’t need gloves) but these ones are really long. Perhaps it’s the weight of the yarn doing this as well.

Well, the yarn was sometimes a little bit hard to knit with. Especially when I had to frog and use it again. Then it untwisted and kind of fell apart. This happened when sewing the whole thing, too. I never had this problem before and will have an eye on it when buying yarn in future.

With needles size 8 the cardigan was finished in only two weeks (incredible for me!)
