Tubey!

Tja, da bin ich wieder!
Nach einer Einarbeitsphase (7 Wochen) sind die ersten Ferien in der Schule. Es gefällt mir immer noch super, auch wenn ich die erste Woche von zweien zum Vorbereiten gebraucht habe. Aber jetzt ist (fast) alles fertig und wir gehen noch für vier Tage nach Florenz! Ich war noch nie da und freue mich riesig!

Auf den Nadeln liegt ein neues Projekt: Tubey aus der Knitty Winter05. Es geht mir wie meistens, bei der Anleitung kapiere ich nicht alles, dann fange ich einfach mal an, folge genau (fast) der Instruktion und schaue, was rauskommt.
Hier waren die neuen Herausforderungen: der Crochet Cast On (da anzuhängen wird sicher noch lustig!) dann das für mich eher langweilige glatt rechts stricken und nicht zu sprechen von den Umrechnungen, da die Maschenprobe natürlich gar nicht stimmen wollte!
Ah, was solls... wird schon schief gehen.



Hi there, it's me again!
After a beginning phase of 7 weeks the first holidays at the school have started. I still love the work, even though I used one of the two weeks of holidays to prepare the next Quarter of the year. But now everything (well most of) is done and we booked a 4 day trip to Florence! I've never been there and I'm really looking forward to it!

A new UFO has landed on my needles: it's Tubey published in the Knitty Winter05. It has started like most of the knitting projects, I only get some clues from the instructions but not all of the steps. Then I just start knitting and everything gets clearer.
These are the new challenges: the Crochet Cast On (I wonder how the attaching works!) the quite boring stockinette stich and better not to mention the painful adapting of my swatch to the pattern!
Ah, what ever ... time will show.
