Ehrlich, ich habe, ausser in den jeweiligen Ländern, noch nie so viele Amis und Japaner auf einem Haufen gesehen!
Zugegeben, Florenz ist beeindruckend. Der Dom, der Palazzo Vecchio, die gesamte Altstadt. Vor allem wenn man bedenkt, dass ihre grosse Blütezeit im 16ten Jahrhundert war! Bei uns haben sie da noch in Schweineställen gelebt.
Na ja, fast noch.
Es hat mir trotz den Schwärmen von Reisegruppen mit Funkführungen gefallen.
Und ich habe das Schnäuzchen von Porcellino gestreichelt, etwas Kleingeld in seinen Brunnen geworfen und mir damit eine Rückkehr nach Florenz gesichert (sagt man).

Honestly, I've never seen that many Americans and Japanese on the same spot, except in their own countries of course!
I have to admit, Florence is impressive! The Dome, the Palazzo Vecchio, the whole old town. Especially when one remembers that the peak of their culture was during the 16th century! With us, at that time they still lived in porksheds.
Well, nearly.
I liked it, despite the swarms of radioconnected tourists.
And I rubbed the snout of the Porcellino gently and tossed some small change in his foutain, that makes me return to Florence once again for sure (that's what they say).
