FO #2: Calorimetry, Knitty Winter 2006
Ich dachte, ich versuch's mal mit diesen verkürzten Reihen. Klappt gut, auch wenn das ganze Teil grösser wurde als auf den Fotos in der Knitty. Wahrscheinlich habe ich nur einen kleineren Kopf als das Modell dort... dabei hatte ich schon 10 Maschen weniger angeschlagen.
Da es ein Geschenk an eine Freundin mit langen Haaren wird, sieht es dann bestimmt auch besser aus als mit meinen kurzen.
Die Farbe ist etwas blau auf den Fotos. Tendenziell ist es eher heller und gedeckter.
My first try with short rows. Easy, even though the whole thing is definately bigger than the one shown in Knitty. Maybe it's my head being smaller than the model's one in the photo... and I already cast on ten stiches less than asked for it.
As it is a gift for a friend of mine who has long hair, it certainely will look better on her than on my head with short hair.
And the color is too much blueish in these photos. In reality it's not so dark.
... und Rogue kämpft sich weiter vorwärts. Tasche oben angestrickt und Knäuel drei ist an der Reihe. Das erste Anleitungsproblemchen hat sich auch schon gemeldet. Muss mal Anja fragen, sie ist sicher schon dort angelangt.
... and Rogue keeps struggling. Bag is finished and skein three's next. The first little problem with the instructions appeared. I have to ask Anja about it, she's already there, I'm sure.
